Two drivers have been charged by the RCMP following separate incidents yesterday in which both of the accused refused to take a breath test.
Around 10 a.m. police responded to reports of an impaired driver in Glenwood, and pulled the 61-year-old man over not long after he entered the Trans Canada Highway. He refused the breathalyzer.
Just before 10:30 p.m. on the same day, police responded to reports of a suspicious-looking parked vehicle in Chapel’s Cove.
Police spoke with the 32-year-old man behind the wheel, and he too refused to give a breath sample.
In both cases the men had their licenses suspended and vehicles impounded.
