A 27-year-old has been arrested after trying to make a beeline on Empire Avenue from police before the supper hour yesterday.

Metro police say as they went to arrest the man for breaching release orders, he took off on foot, and the chase was on.

RNC officers caught up with the man after a brief chase, charging him with breach of a release order and resisting arrest.

He was held for court.
