The Canadian Dental Association has laid out what it’s looking for from each of the federal parties as the country goes in to election mode.
The association says it wants to see sustainable, long term investments in oral health care, support to help with what it’s calling “critical workforce challenges,” and protection of employer-sponsored dental coverage.
On the latter, the association says it’s heard that many employers may reduce benefits for people who are eligible for the Canadian Dental Care Plan.
It’s calling on all parties to make oral health a priority.
