The Department of Education is working with all parties involved in an attempt to find solutions after a local transportation provider suddenly announced it will not be continuing with busing services for an after-school child care provider in CBS.

The change has left many parents up in arms, and wondering how to get their children from school to child care in the middle of the day.

The Department of Education says it is aware of the issue and while it doesn’t provide transportation to child care centres, it is working with all parties involved to find potential solutions for the 2025-26 school year.
