RCMP in Ferryland are trying to confirm the well-being of a man and a woman after they received an unusual call on the weekend.

They were contacted around 6:40 Saturday evening about a man and a woman walking in the area of Riverhead Road and the main highway in Mobile.

Police say the woman, who was approximately 5 feet, 5 inches tall with shoulder-length straight hair, was wearing a blue shirt. Police were told that the woman appeared to be injured, and had difficulty walking without help.

The man was described as tall and of medium build with wavy blonde hair. He was wearing dark-coloured clothing.
