A woman who thought it would be clever to pull the fire alarm in order to make off with merchandise from a St. John’s store found herself in the lockup last night.
RNC were called to the centre city business around 11:30 after a woman hauled down on the fire alarm and rushed out the door with unpaid items.
The 45-year-old was arrested and charged with theft and breach of release order.
She was held for court.
