RCMP in Bay Roberts have arrested and charged a man with aggravated assault as the result of a stabbing in the town yesterday afternoon.
RCMP were called to a home in Bay Roberts around 4:30 p.m.
One man was taken to hospital for treatment of his injuries.
Police from Bay Roberts and Harbour Grace responded to the residence and arrested Kelvin Coombes, who initially refused to leave the property.
Coombs was held in custody overnight pending a court appearance today.
