Parks Canada is reminding hikers that the North Head Trail system at Signal Hill remains closed to the public.
More spring-like weather of late is attracting people to the popular trail earlier than usual this year, but despite the unseasonable lack of snow, Parks Canada has not yet done its trail assessment in the area, which involves checking for damage or hazards after the winter.
That means the trail remains closed to the public until those assessments are complete.
