A 61-year-old man who blew nearly twice the legal limit has been arrested.
Police stopped the man on the Pitts Memorial Highway after getting a call from a concerned citizen in the downtown area just after 2:00 this morning.
When police finally caught up with him, he failed the roadside screening and subsequent breathalyzer.
He’s been charged with impaired driving, his license has been suspended, and his vehicle has been impounded. He’ll appear in court.
