The provincial government is moving on to the next steps for the potential sale or lease of Bull Arm.
The RFP process, which included an economic and treasury impact analysis, closed earlier this month.
Now, the government will begin commercial negotiations with two proponents – DF Barnes Services and NARL Marketing.
The province says the negotiations will determine if they can reach an agreement that will provide the maximum employment and economic benefit to people in the province while also providing a viable long-term business opportunity.
The government is not bound to any sale or lease at the moment, and a final decision will be made pending the outcome of negotiations.
