Jordyn Piercey scored with 0.2 seconds left in the tied third period as Team Gill took the league title in the inaugural season of the Womens Junior A Hockey League (WJAHL).
Piercey scored five of the six goals through the finals, as Team Gill clinched the trophy in a sweep.
The four-team league began last fall, and finished the league finals with Team Gill battling Team Drover in CBS.
League staff say they plan on being back next season with team names and logos for their second season.
