Energy NL has written a letter to each of the federal party leaders for their stance on the energy industry.

The letter outlines several questions to which they want answers from the leaders, including their views on the federal emissions cap – which the organization has “vehemently opposed,” how candidates will support the industry during threats of tariffs, whether they support the continuation of the Regional Assessment of Offshore Oil and Gas Exploratory Drilling, and if candidates support the use of the NL offshore to meet global demand.

The organization has requested a response from each of the leaders by April 18th, all of which will be posted to their website.
