The carbon tax is no longer being applied to gas and diesel and the impact is immediate.
Carbon tax of just over 17 cents on gas and just over 21 cents on diesel have come off the price of a litre of fuel as of this morning.
That means drivers are seeing a drop of 20.3 cents a litre on the maximum price of gas and a 24.6 cent drop in diesel with the HST included.
