A man who was trying to force his way inside a home in Outer Cove was stopped in his tracks by the RNC yesterday.

Officers were called to the break and entry in progress around 2 p.m.

The 38-year-old was arrested and charged with break and enter, possession of break-in tools, and possession of property obtained by crime.

He was taken to the lockup to appear in court.
