RCMP have released more information on an incident in Grand Falls-Windsor on Friday that resulted in a warning to residents to shelter in place.
Police were contacted about multiple shots fired from the road at a Suvla Street home on Friday.
The suspect, a man wearing a mask, ran from the scene and is believed to have been picked up by a vehicle nearby.
The shelter in place notification was lifted when police determined that the shooting incident was targeted.
The investigation continues.
