A pair of snowmobilers in Hopedale have been arrested following a set of unrelated incidents over the weekend.

Police were called to a report of a stolen snowmobile found outside a store just before 9:30 Saturday.

It was determined the man was drunk and was in possession of the stolen snowmobile.

Then, on Sunday morning, police tried to pull over another snowmobiler on Berry Road. The 26-year-old then flipped his machine before officers were able to arrest him.

Both have been released from custody and are set to appear in court at a later date.
