A company in Gander is offering clinics to help women going through menopause.
Robin White is a registered nurse and the owner of Fresh Faces Laser and Medical Cosmetics.
She and Dr. Krista Blundell have been offering clinics to women for about a year-and-a-half, offering counselling and support for those who need it.
White says they have completed some extra courses to help them with the delivery of the clinics, and they have been helping “a lot of women.”
She says they get questions about a lot of different issues such as hot flashes, night sweats, muscle and joint stiffness, dry skin and dry eyes, hair loss, weight gain, mood swings, and lack of sleep.
She says all of those symptoms can affect a person’s daily life and relationships, but there are ways to help—which is why they are doing the clinics.
