Two men were arrested, and cocaine and cash seized, as the result of a traffic stop on the Trans Canada near Deer Lake on Tuesday.
RCMP stopped the vehicle as part of an ongoing investigation.
Officers located and seized approximately 5 ounces of cocaine and more than $18,000 in cash and other items.
Two Deer Lake men – one aged 64 and the other 42, were arrested and released to appear in court on charges of trafficking in cocaine.
