The Chicago Blackhawks have signed forward Ryan Greene, a native of Paradise, to a three-year entry-level contract.
Greene, who’s 21, had 13 goals and 25 assists in 40 games during his junior season with Boston University this season to help the team reach the national championship. During his university career, he averaged nearly a point a game.
The 6’2″ 192-pound forward was drafted in the second round (57th overall) by the Hawks in 2022.
The contract amounts to a $950,000 cap hit to the Hawks, a team which is rebuilding with the likes of Connor Bedard.
welcome to Chicago, Ryan Greene
