The RNC has confirmed that the shelter in place issued for the Health Sciences, and MUN’s Faculty of Medicine was based on a weapons-related threat received at the new Mental Health and Addictions Centre shortly before 1:00 this afternoon.

The shelter in place advisory was subsequently lifted.
