A St. John’s native is eligible for the 2025 Professional Women’s Hockey League Draft.
Abby Newhook, who wears the C for Boston College, was named eligible for the 2025 PWHL draft this week.
Newhook scored nine goals and 17 assists in 36 games for her NCAA team.
Only one other Newfoundlander plays for the PWHL – Maggie Connors plays for the Toronto Sceptres.
The PWHL draft will be held in Ottawa in June.
