The police investigation continues into a report of a man with a firearm spotted in the Spaniard’s Bay area yesterday.
The report prompted a temporary shelter in place order, which was lifted a short time later.
RCMP officers were unable to locate a suspect or any further evidence to substantiate that a crime had occurred.
The matter remains under investigation. Anyone with information that could help police in identifying the man is asked to contact Bay Roberts RCMP.
