A 49-year-old man stopped for driving at excessively high speeds provided breath samples that were above the provincial limit.
RCMP say the man, who was stopped near Cormack for driving at speeds of up to 153 km/h in a 90 km/h zone, blew above the provincial limit, but below the criminal threshold for impaired driving.
The man was ticketed for excessive speeding and for having a blood alcohol concentration above the provincial limit.
His licence was suspended and his vehicle was impounded.
