A fire in the wilderness area near Shoe Cove in Pouch Cove has been contained.
The RNC says there’s no further risk and officers have cleared the scene.
Crews from the Pouch Cove Fire Department initially responded and had advised the public to stay clear while they worked to bring the blaze under control.
