The final federal carbon rebate is out in some Canadian bank accounts today.
The rebate is out today for those who filed their 2024 income tax return by April 2. Those who filed after that time will get their payment once their return has been assessed.
This is the final helping of the quarterly rebate, which was scrapped when the consumer carbon tax was removed last month.
A single person in this province can expect to get $149, while a family of four is eligible to receive $298, with additional funds for those who qualify for the rural supplement.
