A young Mount Pearl musician is putting off a concert this week in support of the Newfoundland and Labrador chapter of the Parkinson’s Society.
Organizer Alex Taylor, who has become known for putting off events in support of a variety of charitable causes, says there is a personal reason behind this one.
Taylor says his father was diagnosed with Parkinson’s last year. He says he is doing it for his dad as well as others he knows who have been diagnosed with the disease.
The event is set for the Salvation Army on Mundy Pond Road at 7:00 p.m. this Friday.
