Officials have issued a warning after a polar bear sighting in Eddies Cove on the Northern Peninsula.
A bear was caught on video last weekend gorging on a carcass on the beach near Boat Harbour on the Great Northern Peninsula.
Conservation officers are currently trying to find the bear and ask residents not to approach it or take photos or videos if they spot the bear.
Any sightings should be reported to officials by calling 709-457-2300.
