NL Health Services is lifting its mandatory masking requirement in health care facilities across the province as of Monday, April 28th.

However, those with flu-like or gastrointestinal symptoms are still asked to refrain from visiting health care settings until their symptoms subside.

Those who are symptomatic, or who have a rash are still required to wear a mask at all times while inside a health care facility.

Masks will continue to be available at health care facilities across the province, and anyone who would still like to wear a mask is encouraged to do so.
