RCMP say they have concluded an operation in Makinsons near Roaches Line.
They say the public is now free to travel through the area again.
They have not provided any information on the nature of the incident.

The RNC Tactical Response Unit provided assistance to the RCMP in the operation.
Bay Roberts RCMP tweeted out around 11:30 this morning that they were involved in an operation on Gould’s Ridge Road in Makinsons, asking the public to avoid the area for the time being.
