A new report from the Better Business Bureau is digging in to how AI and the dark web are being used by scammers.

The international investigation looks at how those mechanisms are being used in various scams these days, and looks at patterns among reports received.

BBB CEO Julia Lewis says such scams are very prevalent, and are becoming more complex.

She says AI is being used by scammers to scan the dark web for information and bring together pieces of information to create a full identity for someone.
