RNC were called to a downtown area apartment building following what some witnesses described as gunshots fired late Friday afternoon.
Police officers converged at Harbourview Apartments on Brazil Street around 5:00 p.m.
The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary issued a release around 8:00 p.m. saying that they didn’t believe there was any further risk to the public, but that a police presence will remain in the area as the investigation continues.
