Immigration will be a big focus of decision-makers at the Atlantic Chamber of Commerce’s annual conference and meeting beginning tomorrow in St. John’s.
The two-day event will see business leaders from across the region come together to talk about areas of mutual interest.
One of those, according to CEO Rhonda Tulk Lane, is immigration.
She says Atlantic Canada is facing “big issues” relating to population growth, so they will be looking to amplify those voices. She says they are going to do that by celebrating a couple of immigrants from this province and their contributions.
