An ATV driver, who suffered serious injuries in a collision in Torbay earlier this month, is now facing charges related to the crash.
RNC were called to Flora Drive in Torbay on Saturday, May 17th after an ATV and car collided. The driver was treated in hospital for serious injuries, but has since been released, while a young person who was riding on the machine as a passenger was not hurt.
The other vehicle was not damaged and there were no other injuries.
The Constabulary says the driver has been charged with operating an off-road vehicle on a highway and operating an off-road vehicle without insurance.
