A wanted man who had been laying low for the past three years found his way into police custody in an unexpected manner yesterday.

Police were called to an accident in the west end over the supper hour and discovered that one of the drivers involved was suspended from driving and had an outstanding warrant dating back to 2022.

The 28-year-old was ticketed in relation to the accident.

He was taken into custody to appear in court on the outstanding warrant.
