RCMP arrested a man on a charge of possession of stolen property after they responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle parked in Stephenville.
Bay St. George RCMP found 32-year-old James Marche sleeping inside a running truck around 8:30 last Friday morning.
Police say no signs of impairment were detected, however the pickup turned out to be one that had been reported stolen from a home in Stephenville Crossing on May 14th.
A quantity of suspected cocaine found inside the truck was seized.
Marche is facing charges of possession of stolen property and two counts of failing to comply with a release order.
