Damage to two houses in the east end of St. John’s is significant after black smoke began spewing from the structures at about 10:30 this morning.
The two homes, in the area of Fox Avenue off Ridge Road and Higgins Line, are adjoined.
The RNC closed off several roads.
It is not yet known if there were any injuries.
