A child is in critical condition after his bicycle was struck by a vehicle in the area of Montague and Watson streets in Virginia Park yesterday evening.
The 7-year-old boy suffered serious injuries as a result of the collision around 6:45 yesterday.
RNC say the driver of an SUV traveling on Montague Street when the collision occurred remained at the scene.
The matter is under investigation. Anyone with CCTV, dash cam or cell phone footage around the time of the collision is asked to contact the RNC.
