The RCMP in Happy Valley-Goose Bay have issued an arrest warrant for a man allegedly involved in an attempted robbery at Da Shed Pub last week.
On Thursday evening, police say a masked man entered the business holding what appeared to be a shotgun and demanded money from staff.
When confronted by an employee, the man left the business and was seen leaving on a dirt bike.
Now, 37-year-old Kieran Alexander Pardy, who goes by Alex Pardy, has been identified as a suspect and a warrant has been issued for his arrest.
Police say they attempted to arrest him on Monday, but he fled in a vehicle in a dangerous manner.
Pardy is wanted on numerous serious charges, including:
- Robbery with a firearm
- Disguise with intent to commit and offence
- Pointing a firearm
- Assault with a weapon
- Resisting/obstructing a police officer
- Flight from police
- Operation while prohibited
- Failure to comply with conditions of release order
- Failure to comply with probation order
The investigation is continuing, and anyone with information as to Pardy’s whereabout is urged to contact RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
