Construction work is now underway for the next section of the crosstown shared-use path in St. John’s.
Work has started near MacDonald Drive Elementary as well as in the Kenny’s Pond area near Portugal Cove Road.
From there, work will eventually move along from Toronto Street to Logy Bay Road. The City of St. John’s says work will continue through to December, with final paving happening in spring of next year.
The work is part of a larger project which will connect the west end of the city with the east.
