One of the biggest stars of pro-wrestling has passed away.
Terry Gene Bollea, better known as Hulk Hogan was 71.
Hogan’s wrestling career started in 1977 and he joined what was then known as the World Wrestling Federation in late 1983, launching the Hulkamania phenomenon – quickly becoming one of the most popular and recognized wrestlers of all time, often showing off his 24 inch biceps.
He dominated the wrestling scene through the remainder of the 1980s and into the early 2000’s. He also enjoyed an acting career, playing in a number of film and television roles.
He reportedly passed away after suffering a cardiac arrest at his Florida home this morning.
