The preliminary inquiry has been set for man from Trinity in Bonavista North, blamed for a crash that killed two people last year.
Fifty-three-year-old Roger Hunt was charged in February, following the tragedy this time last summer.
The single-vehicle crash occurred around 10:00 a.m. on July 23rd on Route 320 near Hare Bay.
Hunt is accused of being the driver of a truck that went out of control and crashed, killing his passengers, a man and woman both aged 62.
Hunt was rushed to hospital in Gander with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Seven months later, this past February, he was charged with two counts of dangerous driving causing death.
Hunt remains free on conditions pending the one-day preliminary inquiry set for March 2nd of next year.
