Officials say a wildfire reported in Labrador has been declared out, but another fire is now threatening more wooded areas south of Happy Valley-Goose Bay.
The fire is reportedly 19 km due south of Happy Valley-Goose Bay, east of the Trans-Labrador Highway.
Ground crews are now making their way to the site, while helicopters try to attack from above.
The fire, along with the previously reported incident near Grand Lake, is due to suspected lightning.

A new forest fire has ignited near Grand Lake in Labrador, the premier announced during a news conference Saturday evening.
The fire is believed to be along the forest access road north of Happy Valley-Goose Bay.
The current size and threat to nearby infrastructure is still unknown, with helicopters waiting for favourable weather to map the fire.
Ground crews are also heading to the location.
The new fire comes on the heels of several wildfires burning across the island which have already led to the evacuation of thousands of residents.
