Students are heading back to school next week and that means a busy time for parents and retailers alike.
A local company has been offering a service to try to take some of the headache out of back-to-school shopping.

The general manager of Dicks and Company in St. John’s, Corina Byrne, says they’ve been putting together school supply kits for years.
She says the kits are compiled by school and by grade. “Some schools are very specific with what they want. So we have actually over 1,900 different kits.”
Byrne says they even have basic kits for high schools, which often don’t release a supply list. The kits have to be pre-ordered online.
