A 46-year-old man has been charged after a motorcycle crash in Stephenville on Sunday.

Bay St. George RCMP responded to the scene on Georgia Drive just before 9:30 Sunday evening.

Responding officers detected signs of impairment and the driver failed a roadside breath test. He was arrested for impaired driving and provided further breath samples at the detachment that were more than twice the legal limit.

The man was released to appear in court at a later date. His licence was suspended and his motorcycle was seized and impounded.
