A man who was putting others on the road in danger is facing impaired driving charges.
Officers patrolling Kenmount Road last night noticed a vehicle clipping along at 82 km/h in the 50 km/h zone.
RNC flashed the lights and the car took off, running right through a red light, later heading into oncoming traffic in a construction zone.
The driver eventually pulled over and officers immediately noticed signs of impairment.
He was taken to RNC Headquarters where he provided breath samples over the legal limit.
He was charged with impaired driving and was issued several tickets. His vehicle was also impounded.
