An 18-year-old Hopedale man has been arrested and charged after an assault at a home in the community.

Police were called shortly after 9:00 yesterday morning after a man, with a firearm, entered a home and assaulted a person inside.

The suspect, who was known to the victims, left the firearm inside the home and left the area before police arrived.

Ethan Dicker was arrested a short time later.

He is facing charges including assault, assault with a weapon, break and enter with intent, and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose as well as other weapons-related charges.

He was released to appear in court October 28th.
