Metro police had to deploy pepper spray in order to get the cuffs on a man believed to be responsible for a break-in at a home in the west end of the capital city.
RNC were called to the home around 10:20 yesterday morning where the suspect was spotted running behind nearby homes to hide from police.
An officer caught up with the man who had to be pepper sprayed in order to take him into custody.
The 45-year-old is facing charges of property damage, theft, uttering threats, resisting arrest and breach of a probation order.
