It’s day two of the U18 Women’s National Hockey Championship in CBS and Mount Pearl.
The event kicked off yesterday afternoon.
All provinces are represented with Team Atlantic featuring some players from Newfoundland and Labrador.
Jared Butler of Hockey NL says, other than the Allan Cup, it’s the first time we have hosted a national hockey championship since 2011.
He says it’s a once in a lifetime opportunity to be able to host the prestigious event.
The crossovers are set for Friday with the gold and bronze medal games taking place on Saturday.
