A 49-year-old man has been charged in connection with break-ins and thefts over the summer.

Bay Roberts RCMP searched a home in Bay Roberts on October 30th in connection to two break-ins – one involving a cabin in Ocean Pond and the other at an RV Park in Makinsons back in July – and at a medical clinic in August.

Police say property stolen in the incidents was recovered.

Forty-nine-year-old Leonard Fitzpatrick was arrested at a nearby business without incident.

He’s been charged with two counts of break and enter, three counts of possession of stolen property, and three counts of failing to comply with a release order.

RCMP say more charges are possible.
