The Montreal Alouettes, about to put themselves in a position to tie the game with 3 minutes left, dropped the football at the Saskatchewan goal line.
The Roughriders took over, and held on to win their first Grey Cup in a dozen years with the final score 25-17.
Saskatchewan quarterback Trevor Harris was named the MVP.
The CFL championship took place in Winnipeg.
